Bluedog Protective Coatings for FLOORS has been specially formulated to protect floors in a wide variety of renovation, building and construction situations.
During a renovation lots of materials can be flicked, dropped or spilt on newly laid flooring. Our coatings adhere to the flooring surface and protects your floors against damage from mud, dirt, marks, stains & scratched floors (nails, screws, dropped tools etc).
Cleaning takes time and costs money, and sometimes the damage requires repairs or even replacement which can be extremely expensive.
Our flooring temporary protective coatings are simple to use, just roll them on and they offer up to 12 months of protection, and because safety is our number # 1 priority our floor protective coating also contains anti slip additives.

Bluedog will also offer protection from other renovation situations like concrete splashes (during pouring), metal shavings, screws and nails, grout and paint spills. It can be applied to a wide range of flooring surfaces including:
Floor Tiles
Sealed marble, ceramic, porcelain, flagstone, quarry, terracotta/mexican, agglomerate and terrazzo. Grout joints must be cured prior to application.
Timber Flooring
Polished durability class 1, 2 & 3. Durability class 4 may also be coated however the wood must be fully sealed, lacquered and cured prior to application. Floor sealer must be cured prior to application of Bluedog Protective Coatings® for FLOORS (this may take several weeks as the carrier solvents from the floorboard coating needs to evaporate for correct curing).
Concrete (internal)
Cured and unpitted concrete such as garage floors, as well as polished concrete and epoxy coated flooring surfaces. Noting that sealer must be cured prior to application of Blue Dog Protective Coatings® for FLOORS.
Other surfaces
Bluedog Protective Coatings® FLOORS is NOT RECOMMENDED for any unsealed and/or porous substrates. For other surfaces we strongly recommend testing a small test amount of our product in a discrete area prior to beginning your full flooring project to ensure you are satisfied there is no residue from our coatings.
